Grace C. Washington is an authoritative teacher, pastor/preacher and leader. With more than 40 years of ministry experience, 2015 marks an incredible 30-year journey of service as a senior pastor.

Pastor Washington is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry degree from Newburgh Theological Seminary. She earned her M.Div. degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center’s (ITC) Gammon Theological Seminary. She also attended Georgia State University, International Tabulating Institute, and the Word of Faith Bible College. Her academic honors include being one of the Nation’s Top Students, and consecutive listings on the National Dean’s List. The Grace C. Washington Institute was founded to teach and train people in biblical, theological and ethical procedures of Christian education.

Pastor Washington’s sermon, “The Dawning of a New Day,” was included in the American Folklife Center’s Inauguration 2009 Sermons and Orations Project. Her international experiences include China, Bethlehem, the Virgin Islands, Ghana and Soweto. The West Palm Beach, Florida native is author of three books related to marriage. She and her husband of 45 years, Deacon Robert Washington, have two adult daughters and four grandchildren.
